I build software that improves on existing systems, or fills the gaps where nothing good exists yet.
There is room for improvement everywhere. Dating apps match on photos and swipe counts. Job boards match on keywords. Neighbourhood searches match on square footage. None of these things tell you whether you will actually find what you are looking for.
I am building something Canadian, for Canadians first, but eventually a global market, and I would like to build it with someone who understands what that means right now.
My first product is Happily Ever After (HEA), an app for people looking for real relationships, not the next date. The onboarding takes 20 to 30 minutes on purpose. If you won't spend 20 minutes on your future partner, you're not who it's for. The app has no swiping. Matches unlock as you complete your profile. When you find someone permanently, it celebrates and wishes you well and lets you live your happily ever after.
I built it alone. I launched it in May 2026. I'm a developer who builds things that matter, and building is my passion. Marketing is a chore and I'm aware enough to admit I'm not the right person for it.
Here is the honest picture: I have a product pipeline mapped through mid-2027. This isn't a one product company. The ideas are good, I can prove that when you talk to me.
What I can't do is reach the people who would care. That's where you come in.
Here is a story about me that may give you some insight. When it rains, the earthworms come out and sometimes get stuck on the concrete. I pick them up and move them back to the grass so that they can survive. They can't thank me. They probably have no idea I exist. They get to live because I made a choice with no benefit to me.
Products that I build are like that. People stuck in systems that weren't designed for them, moved gently back to where they can thrive.
If you read that and felt something, not thought something, felt something, keep reading.
I'm not offering a salary. I'm offering equity in something real, built by someone who means it, with a product pipeline that addresses problems every human on earth has experienced. If you believe in what gets built here, you'll do well when it succeeds.
What I need is someone who can tell this story to the world, build the channels, find the humans who need these products, and make them feel found. Someone who sees the mission before they see the opportunity.
If that's you, tell me why you pick up earthworms.
