About
After it rains, earthworms come out and get trapped on the concrete. When I see them, I pick them up and move them back to the grass so they can live. They don't know I did it. They can't thank me. There's no benefit to me.
I do it because it's the right thing to do.
That's why Earthworm Software. Every product we build exists for people stuck in systems that weren't designed for them, built by someone who will never meet most of them, and doesn't need to. The name is a reminder of why we build things, to help those who cannot build it themselves.
Every product we build starts with the same question: why is this so broken, and why has no one made it better? Then we build the version people actually needed.
We don't approach problems from inside the existing system. We look at what the system is supposed to do for the people using it, find where it fails them, and build something that fixes it. That means the products we make rarely look like what came before them. That is intentional.
We started with relationships. We are not stopping there.
Earthworm Software is incorporated in Alberta, Canada. We build for Canadians first, with Canadian values around privacy, community, and doing things properly rather than just doing them fast.
The products we build will reach a global market. But the reason we build them, and the way we build them, starts here.
