Code Ownership

Who owns what we build.

This is a fair question, and you should never have to guess the answer.

When we build custom software for you, the application we build is yours. Once the project is delivered and paid for, you own it. You can modify it, extend it, hand it to another developer, or do anything else you’d do with something you own, because you do own it.

Here’s the part worth being upfront about: we build modular. Over years of doing this work, we’ve built reusable pieces, patterns, components, small internal tools, that show up across different projects because rebuilding the same solved problem from scratch every time serves no one. If a piece like that goes into your project, it remains ours to reuse elsewhere. It is like owning a building where the builder can still make other buildings with the same type of bricks. It doesn’t limit what you can do with your software, the building is yours.

We’ll always be clear about which is which before the work starts, not after.
